They’re all puppets…
In the uncertain future, a Chinese-American film will hopefully be released «Bloodshot» with the brave Vin Diesel as another incarnation of the universal soldier.
Ray Harrison (Vin Diesel) – a skilled warrior who travels the world to free hostages from the captivity of countless terrorists. After every mission, Ray rushes into the arms of his charming and beloved wife. But one day something goes wrong: here Ray is sitting tied up in a cooler with beef carcasses, his wife is sitting across from him, and some evil freak in shorts and a fur coat and a pneumatic gun for slaughtering cattle (remember «No room for old men»?) in his hands demands some kind of snitches. «Bloodshot» Dave Wilson has all the makings of a superhero movie based on a comic book. The only thing that sets it apart from its older brethren is that it wasn’t published by comic industry giants like «Marvel», but by the humble publishing house Valiant, which, however, did not prevent the series from selling a combined circulation of more than seven million copies. Of course, the comic book has undergone many changes in the film, but its essence remains the same. It is true that Wilson’s film cannot boast of originality, and the makers of this product have relied on technological tricks and the peculiar charisma of the lead actor. And if everything is more or less normal with the latter, things are a little worse with the technological attraction: almost all of the most spectacular episodes we could all see in the trailer. So there’s a suspicion that the movie won’t make much money on computer marvels alone.
